Sun Visors

Sun visors are the padded panels that fold down from the roof to block glare, mounted on a hinge at the roof and held by a clip at the outer edge.

Buying guide: Sun Visors

Many carry a vanity mirror and a ticket holder, and some are illuminated. The overhead consoles that sit between them are listed in the same group.

The common failures are a hinge that no longer holds the visor up, a broken clip that lets the visor swing, and a mirror cover that has snapped off. On older vehicles the fabric on the visor disintegrates and the foam beneath turns to powder. A visor that drops on its own is a genuine driving distraction, not just a cosmetic issue.

Match by side and by option content: with or without a mirror, illuminated or plain, and with or without a ticket holder. The hinge and the mounting screw pattern differ between the driver and passenger sides and between vehicles with and without a sunroof.
